Reports of criminal offences addressed to the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) shall be filed in writing to the address set forth below.

Summary penalty orders and other orders
The principle of public proceedings not only guarantees proper and lawful treatment for parties to criminal proceedings, but also allows the general public to follow the proceedings.
OAG archives
Documents in the archives of the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) may be accessed by the general public free of charge on expiry of the protective period. The protective period for OAG documents is normally 50 years.
FoIA / FADP
Requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act (FoIA) and under the Data Protection Act (FADP).
Judgement Enforcement unit
The Judgement Enforcement unit enforces the decisions of the Swiss federal prosecution authorities to the extent they do not fall within the competence of the cantons (Art. 442 para. 3 CrimPC in conjunction with Art. 75 para. 1 StBOG [Criminal Act on the Organisation of Federal Criminal Justice Authorities, SR 173.71]). Such decisions encompass the judgments passed by the Federal Criminal Court (FCC) as well as penalty orders, discontinuation and confiscation orders of the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG).
