Lausanne, Lugano, and Zurich Branch offices
The Branch Offices of the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland are active in the field of so-called new powers (Art. 24 StPO). This encompasses cases of organised crime, money laundering and corruption as well as white collar crime with marked international or inter-cantonal aspects.
The Lausanne Branch Office concentrates on cases where investigations focus on the cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Neuchatel, Jura, Valais and Fribourg, while the Zurich Branch deals with cases where investigations focus on the cantons of Appenzell Innerrhoden and Ausserrhoden, Glarus, Grisons (German-speaking part), Schaffhausen, Schwyz, Thurgau, Zug and Zurich. The Lugano Branch Office deals with cases where investigations focus on the cantons of Ticino and Grisons.
